I'm a middle aged dad and husband that's gotten very lazy with both what I eat (I LOVE snacks!) and my exercise routines. I love running and am working my way back to better fitness with weight based workouts, more and regular running, and eating healthy, including no or very minimal sweets. I am really intrigued with very low carb diets and intermittent fasting.

Hello...New to the LCHF Group
I've been LCHF/ Keto for about 18 months now. I was very strict the first few months and dropped 30 lbs. I was doing lazy keto after that with limited results. I gave it a renewed commitment this year and have had great success keeping my goals first and foremost. I'm down a little over 40 lbs now and I'm the same size I was when I graduated from high school... a little over 40 years ago! My focus now is improving and maintaining my health. You guys can do this!

LCHF
Thanks for the positivity, LostSun! My bike is parked till spring! Ran 3-1/2 miles last night right at the end of my 24 hrs and it went great... though bitter cold! Warmer weather's coming!

LCHF
I'm a beginner at this LCHF and have just started intermittent fasting. I did a number of 18 hour days last week and today is my first 24 hr attempt. I've also really upped my exercise and quit using the cold and windy weather as my excuse! 3 mile run/ walk yesterday in 20 degree temps and 35 mph winds. My first week saw a 7 lb drop. Yesterday I went way off the wagon and had enough carbs for a week, though probably didn't do all that bad on calories. Ate sensibly last night at supper and not eating again until supper today to try to get back on track!
