I am back another year older (THANK GOD). I have had some health set backs over the last year reason for not being on site. I didn't even log into my emails as I physically couldn't do much as working on rehab my left arm that included checking emails on computer. I am now working almost 46 hours a week to pay bills and stay afloat so exercising is a bit of an issue at present. My lowest weight todate was 182 my goal weight is 140. I am a type 2 Diabetic diagnosed two years ago after having an emotional upset that caused me to pass out. I have learned to try to control my emotions and not to let others push my buttons. I am practacing letting go of people, circumstances and issues that are not for my highest best. In the past I was the person who never gave up and pushed through to the end of everything to the point that it almost cost me my life. In present life I have learned to walk away and live to fight another day. I also learned to check in with myself when I am met with hositle and agressive people as their issues are not mine and I don't have to carry that energy with me. I have learned to turn off electronic devices and go to sleep for 8 hours a night and I use a water app that reminds me to drink water (aqualert). I am trying to get back into mediation. I almost to a year in my healing so getting back into some physical activity inside of course.

Day 1
I was a daughter of a type 2 diabetic and I applaud you as this disease is no joke and can affect you in my ways. I am tested twice a year as it is a family trait. Thus far I have tested negative, but I have been on a yo-yo weight gain and loss for awhile now. FAT SECRET helped me to get down to 175 but I went off the site for 5 months and now I am back to go the distance.

Fresh vegetables, daily walking and lifting weights was my key to weight loss in the past.

So I am back to say, "YOU CAN DO THIS".

Lack of love
Thank you to everyone on this site that is willing to give a loving and supportive comment to another human being. Weight gain and loss is more than lifting weights, eating right and walking. It's about community and working as a group to give support when one of us needs support. This village is about positive loving energy and not negative comments. When you point a finger look at yourself as four fingers are pointing back at yourself Glaun. I guess I am not the only one who feels that their is enough negative energy in the world lets not have it on this site too.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I Weigh in once a week and post the result on a sheet I have hanging on bedroom wall so I can see it every morning when I get up. I plan to keep this up until I reach my goal weight.
I aim to for my best everyday and accept when I fail by going up on the scale. I try to move past the gains as quickly as possible and look at where I slacked off the previous week. Everything is a tool and I look at the scale as the tool of my progress.
