40 lbs to lose!!!!! Got to start somewhere. Been on a low carb diet now for about a month. I haven't weighed myself since the day i started but know i have lost inches. I don't want to get disheartened if the scales don't show much progress.

BMI - Go figure.
AS I said before I don't weigh myself because my body stat scales are not reliable. Scales gave me a BMI 6 weeks ago of 31. Went to the gym and they did a body stat on me using two electrodes to my feet and two to my foot. BMI 26.1. But no weight loss.
I just want to be smaller than i am. By another 2 dress sizes.Doubt

Hi Foxx's mum. Nice to see someone actually followed what I was trying to get at on Nutracheck. I allow myself between 25 and 30 grams of carbs per day. And Dancinteacher I would be on the scales every day if i had a reliable set of scales. I have now bought 3 sets this year and they are body fat analyser scales and they just go weird when i get on them. They can read a difference of half a stone each time i get on and off. Thats 3 different makes too. So i sick of trying to weigh myself. I wish i had a set that were reliable. Which ones do you use?

He he. Look at this Im talking to you guys over there. Great isn't it. Me too. I have tried low fat diet and it was a struggle to shift any weight. This is easy. I love it. I too feel so alert and alive it's infectious. I love whipping cream with blueberries. I always have my white egg omlette every morning with cheddar cheese in. I don't eat the egg yolk as not so keen on this. I eat lots of chicken and avacado's. I eat a handful of almonds everyday after my omlette. Still trying to find my way around this site. Speak to you ladies soon. Smile

Hey Ripp and Dancinteacher. Im new to this too. I only joined 3 days ago although been following a low carb diet for the past 3 1/2 weeks. I haven't weighed myself because my scales give me a different reading each time i get on them within the space of 5 mins. So I dont weigh at the moment. Im loving this LCHF diet. Im have today got back into my next size down jeans again which is great. I could put a fist inside the side of my jeans yesterday and they looked daft so im pleased to have dropped a size. Im in Devon in UK. Where are you guys?

Started back on LCHF again today. Found it very difficult to follow when you are working away. Feel enormous now. :( Still not weighed myself.
