Deeply Diabetic
Sensitivities to light and sound make me a shut in.
Recently cured chronic migraines has led to weight gain (not spending around 3 days a week barely able to eat) which is messing up my calibrations for blood sugar and medications.

So while I have no reason to care about my weight in general, I now have impetus to get back to 280 and stabilize there. Seems like this tool and its community could help.

Update: I hit my target! But it didn't require much of a sacrifice and I was feeling better so I have decided to keep going. Heading for 269 which is weight I lived at for years before the tumors. Bonus, I think there is a ton of clothes vacuum sealed in the attic that should fit at that weight.

Update: Going to maintenance for awhile. I'll bounce between 269 and 274. See if I can good at holding even. If I luck into bouncing a few pounds lower I'll adjust the 5 pound range accordingly.

Sodium/Salt intake HOW MUCH
Three of the medications I'm on have side effects of lowering blood pressure. As I am diabetic and low blood pressure fairly well mimics the effects of low blood sugar this can be a problem. I combat that with a fairly severe dosage of salt. I don't track the dosage I just salt everything. My blood usually tests about 95/60, low but safe.

But I'm an unusual case. So I guess I'm just saying that if all salt did was raise your blood pressure I never did see how that was a problem for people with low and normal pressure.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I get weighed when I go to the doctors, which is often.
But back in my formal dieting days it was the opinion that once a week was best as daily fluctuations that are due mostly to fluids can be demoralizing.
