Somewhere along the line, food became a friend
Yes you can do this! When you feel that need for a "new friend" reach for the healthy alternate. Drink Water to make you feel full and not so needy. I have found out if I don't do something warm then I tend to go to the fridge and look for something to "comfort" me. So I have made pots of veggie soup that is low calorie and healthy for those times that I need something a little comforting. Its amazing that a bowl of homemade veggie soup can go a LONG way in making you content. But most of all when I am thinking about food too much. I find something to do that replaces it. Needless to say I have a really clean house right now lolVery Happy

How can my body do this?
Don't rely on numbers as much as how you feel. You might not lose pounds as much as inches. Just think of it as everything I am eating is healthy and good for me and let your body do the rest. If you are eating healthy doing a good calorie count so you don't store, and exercising in the long run you will lose weight and feel better mentally, physically and emotionally. Just remember DON"T give up. We didn't put this weight on overnight..therefore we can't expect to lose it overnight. Stay STEADY AND STRONG!
