Joined the Adonis Golden Ratio system Jan 9 2014. I weighed 231 lbs. My goal weight is 160 lbs. Joined Fat Secret Jan 29 2014 weighing 213 lbs. July 1 2014 I weighed 179 lbs. I lost 54 lbs. by during that timeframe. My diet was basically low calorie, low carb, high protein. I normally work 60 hr a week. After July, I started feeling weak. I felt the downside of cutting out carbs. After injury and sicknesses I decided to give it another try. January 2 2015 I weighed 216 lbs. Gained 37 of the 54 lbs I had lost. I did some research and started leaning towards a microbiome type diet. I added resitant starches to my diet. Mainly RS2's and RS3's. Basic diet overview: baked chicken and fish (all natural, no steroids or other crap) Fresh produce (No packaged or box foods). 1 1/2 lbs of cooked and cooled potatoes, daily. Whole grains ( rolled oats, rice (all types)). No dairy, water only. Fresh tubers ( beets, ginger, Jerusalem artichokes). I have lost 27 lbs in 6 weeks. There goes the theory of starches are bad so far. I have to see long term results and how well I maintain my weight after I get to my goal. I was always taught carbs were bad. Now I'm eating a 3:1 ratio carbs/ protein, and loosing fat at a steady rate.
