My name is Monique and I am a wife and mother of 5 children ages 8, 7, 6, 3, & 2. Actually 6 children if you count my husband! I am finally ready to do this for me and I need all the help I can get! Cooking for children is hard when you are trying to watch your weight and with a husband who is only 197lbs at 6'2" he has never had a problem with weight in his life. So it is hard or him to understand how I feel or what I am going through. I am determined to do this, and I need some help!

Knee pain out of no where!
I agree, I realize that it is just the opinions of others, and it's not really medical advice I a asking for. I just wan tot know if my knee pain could be coming from my walking or not wearing the proper shoes.

Knee pain out of no where!
I recently started having knee pain on my right knee. I thought it could been exercise but all I am doing is walking so that can't possibly be it. What do you guys thijk could be the problem? I thought that by me losing over 20 lbs that it would be better for my knees but it seems t be worse for my knees. I am getting a balanced diet so what the heck could be causing this pain?? Early onset arthritis?

Dinner after late runs??
I have a small bowl of cereal like Special K with Light Silk Soy Milk, and that's it. It's been doing the trick so far!

Avoiding people when your weight is up
I avoid my step father! He makes some mean comments to my mom especially but little snippy comments to me like "I guess tomorrow you'll be back to eating McDonalds" or "Here she goes again" but keep in mind he has been fit all his life, works out 4 days a week and has never been overweight a day in his life. It is at a point that I don't even mention that I am on a diet to him or around him. I will just let the evidence show when I am in some skinny jeans a few months from now. I think this is one of the major reasons my mom won't do this diet with me, because she knows that he will say things to her when she starts it. I really hate it because he is so good at fitness, that he really could be helping both of us but instead he would rather tear down!
