performance: losing 0.1 lb a week
I am a 47 yo SAHM of 3 energetic boys. Our oldest is 10 and the youngest are almost 8 yo identical twins. They keep me on my toes and stressed out all day long.
I've been carrying these excess pounds since the birth of the twins and it literllay weighs me down. We have a family trip this summer and I want to have the weight off so I won't feel like I am on the outside looking in. I let my weight dictate what I do...like I won't wear a bathing suit so I miss out on the kids loving the water.
I chose South Beach Diet b/c with the twins I had gestational diabetes. Once the twins were born it went away but the likelihood of it returning is high. SB is low glycemic which is necessary for a diabetic, it stabalizes the blood sugar.
I don't food journal on this site. I do it manually. Just easier for me.
I hope one day to be a success story.
