Hi Everyone! I'm a wife and mother of two girls and I'm turning *gulp* 40 this year and I want it to be the best time of my life. After watching Forks over Knives and reading The China Study, I've come to the conclusion that the only way to live a long and healthy life is to run as far as you can from the Standard American Diet. I am eating a mostly Vegan Diet and exercising at least 4 days a week. I say "mostly Vegan" because my family are all omnivores and, lets face it, I don't live in a bubble. I don't allow myself endulgences of Dairy or Meat more than once a month and its usually out of convenience, not a craving.
