The Pizza Diet - does it actually work?
Although I am certainly no diet expert nor am I a nutritionist, it just seems that any weight loss "fad" is more of a setup for eventual failure. You may loose the weight, but how do you maintain that weight loss? Weight loss and maintaining weight loss seems to be best achieved when you change your over-all eating habits and your mindset concerning eating. I think an important question to ask yourself is, am I going to eat this way for the rest of my life? How reasonable is a pizza diet for the rest of your life?

Can't handle Atkins. Needing advice.. Again.. lol
Of course everything does not please everyone. However, with a bit of common sense about what you should/should not eat, you do get all of your necessary food groups in. Anything done in excess is not good. If getting complex answers to what works suits you, then I guess WW is not for you. I can only tell you that my BMI, my cholesterol levels, my blood pressue, my blood sugar levels etc are all excellent. I have maintaned my weight for going on 3 months now. And the WW "rules" are second nature to me now and do not require much thought....
But, to each his own...

I agree!! Weight Watchers WORKS!! I eat whatever I want and I am never hungry. And it's easy once you get the hang of it. And the best part is, it is NOT a diet. It is a lifestyle. It is reasonable to say that it is possible to do for the rest of your life.

I absolutely agree with Sherilyn70. The bottom line is that diets do not work, long-term. In order to loose weight AND most importantly, keep it off requires a life-style change. And, personally, I think in order to loose weight and keep it off also requires a mind-set change. You have to commit to a healthier eating life-style; which includes constant, consistant moderation (and never deprivation).
And P.S. - I have 2 snickers mini bites every day after lunch (Mon - Fri) and I have 2 cookies every evening after dinner Wink
Weight Watchers is what I use to maintain my weight.
