How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Every day before I get a shower or first thing in the morning. If I have light clothing on, I subtract one pound.

Good table manners make us eat less
Hello. Have you ever thought about our manners at the table and how they might affect how much we eat? Here are some manners that slow down our eating and teach us to chew and enjoy every bite. Sometimes we eat more because we are enjoying the experience of being at the table with family and friends or even alone. Manners keep us at the table while helping to control portions.

Resting the fork on the plate after a bite.
Cutting meat and other hard foods into small pieces.
After cutting, switching the knife to the left hand and the fork to the right before eating a bite.
Cutting one bite at a time.
Breaking bread into small pieces before eating.
Putting a small portion of butter on our plate instead of digging into the main container.
Passing serving bowls to others.
Asking others if they want to share the remainder of food in the serving bowl before taking it all ourselves.
Waiting until the host/hostess is at the table before beginning to eat.
Chewing with our mouths closed, and swallowing before talking.
Puting small portions on our plates.
Watching our postures. Support your back if necessary for more comfort.
Don't be the person who is still eating after everyone else has finished.
Set a nice table with attractive placemats/tablecloth and even flowers at time. Mealtime is about more than the food.
