Goal to look Svelte!!
The plan is to rev up metabolism through weight training and small meals while also ensuring a net caloric deficit. Eat 5-6 small meals every 2-3 hours of 200-300 calories each. Focus on eating healthy foods only. Weigh and measure all food or don't eat it! Work out at least 5 days per week (2 days on/one day off) with a focus on 40 min cardio plus weight training split between arms/chest/abs and back/lower body to build muscle to burn more calories.
Have reached sub-goal of 155 lbs and seem to be able to hold it, fantastic! At the end of the day, planned to do the above, but really just calorie controlled and cut out alcohol which made eating less easier.
11/13/11 - To get these last 10lbs off, going to eat nothing white other than cauliflower, lean meats, veggies and legumes. Some weight training and quick exercises in between meals to get lean muscle. Cheat day on Saturday. 145 here I come!
04/18/12 - All was going well until Christmas, was back at 159 by end of February, did a juice fast for 2 weeks lost 7 pounds gained back 4, started doing clean went from 156 to 149 in first week, held for 2nd week, feeling good following the elimination diet from Clean now.
06/05/12 - Eat small healthy meals focusing on veggies/fruit/nuts/legumes, measure everything, no bread/sugar/junk/alcohol, workout at least 5x per week for 1.5 hours.
One day at a time, it all pays off in the end!
