Went to a meeting to find out more about the 24 Day Challenge and am super excited to try it now. Yes the no dairy is going to be my challenge in this but I'm thinking its actually a pretty easy program to follow and there are many options that I would have to restrict on my current diet. I am doing my planning this week and waiting for the product to come in on friday. I have my weigh in on Monday and Day 1 starts Tuesday!
If anyone is wary of trying the challenge, I'd still highly recommend trying the Spark (energy drink). I had the fruit punch one and its wicked good but doesn't give you the crash like a lot of other energy drinks do.

So I found out this weekend about a 24 day wellness challenge that I'm considering trying. It's not quite a low-carb diet because they do allow carbs but only from fruits. The biggest problem with it I see is they dont allow dairy during the challenge and I practically live off of dairy. I think the only way I'd be able to stick to it is if someone else does it with me but most of the people I know immediately freak out when I mention anything to do with dieting or anything so it's kind of a demotivation right now.
If anyone is interested in learning more please let me know!

So I decided that with my schedule getting busier and busier that I would start a hybrid of phase 1 and phase 2 where if I have time to make a phase 1 meal I will do that but if I'm in a super rush I will have one serving of carb. For instance it was really late last night when dinner was getting ready and I didnt have time to make a salad to go with my chicken so i had my chicken (with balsamic cream sauce) over low carb pasta. I'm technically on week three of phase 1 so I'm not going to feel guilty about it.
I also made it to the gym this morning for the first time in .. well since before xmas (I know tisk tisk). Felt much better this morning after going but now I'm starting to feel tired from getting up so early. Atleast I have an easy meal planned for tonight so I can't use that as an excuse not to make something for dinner (chicken has been in the crockpot all day, going to make it into some kind of buffalo chicken over maybe a salad or something)
So glad tomorrow is friday.. this week has been going by so incredibly slow despite the fact I've been crazy busy at work. Oh well.. I can make it one more day!

Yes I was bad and went to 50% off sushi night last night. I did get one thing of sashimi but ended up getting two maki rolls as well. i did a calculation of my carbs and was surprised it wasnt higher than what it was. yesterday was the first day i had my appetite back (started to in the afternoon) but i'm so exhausted from being sick i had no energy to make food and yes i know thats a poor excuse but I'm not gonna dwell on it. I'll put that behind me and move on! One cheat isnt going to ruin everything as long as I dont continue to do it. I'm finding more nad more that the quick adds for a lot of the foods I've been adding have been wrong. I'm creating my own entries from now on i think.
