Here I sit... all fat and broken hearted... tried to diet but haven't started...

I guess I should not be too hard on myself (well, maybe a little bit)... I started this trek last June, 2012 - weighing in at 326... I achieved 262 by September... But, now I'm hanging around 277 and 280 (grumpf)... Yup, I've gained between 15 and 18 pounds (shifts from day to day).

Here is what I'm doing wrong:
1) NOT recording what goes into my mouth every day (not writing down or
entering into FatSecret what I'm eating)
2) NOT drinking 128 ounces of water a day (every day)
3) NOT following the diet plan I worked out

I KNOW if I do all three things above, the weight will come off (I proved it in going from 326 to 262).

So, Mr. Steve, why "AIN'T" I "gettin' 'er done?"
Tired... so tired...

And, so, the struggle continues... I need to find the motivation I seem to have lost..

Gotta go... must search for the big "M" (motivation)... I know it is around here somewhere... but where? I think it might be where all the lost socks are... or maybe I put it away someplace safe where it would dot get lost - but now, I forgot where that was... (sigh) Well, off I go to resume the search!

Still gaining - but, it is slowing... can't walk as fast to the fridge I suppose. I ripped the gastrocnemius muscle (outer calf muscle) where it attaches to the tendon in the back of the knee (left leg). Let me summarize: OUCH (with the biggest letters and loudest scream you can imagine). Waiting to get an MRI to see if it is a partial or entire rip. If entire, surgery, here I come (sooner than later or they will not be able to "stitch" things back together if the muscle retracts too far). If only a partial... a pat on the back, a well wish for a speedy recovery, go home, take it easy, take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc. Give it three to four months to heal. That plus the new pup brought kennel cough into the home, now our Miniature Poodle has same... a trip to the vet this afternoon, a drop by the pharmacy to pick up the crutches and a full day of work - thank goodness the work schedule is not very heavy today... okay, enough whining... it is time for me to go not eat something... already downed a slim fast, an apple a 32 oz pitcher of water... what else could I possibly ask for? :) Cheer-ee-oh! -- Steve
