Vegetarian, newlywed, puppy-mommy, Meteorologist. Love the outdoors: hiking, biking, camping, skiing, running, canoeing, you name it, I'm there! I also enjoy jewelry making, knitting, scrapping, blogging, gardening, and cooking.

I've gained nearly 10 pounds since last it stress from my May wedding, my job, and some prescriptions I'm on. I was very overweight as a child (I weighed 204 at my heaviest in middle school) and managed to work my way down to 160, with diet and exercise, by college. I then lost another 15 pounds between college and last summer....and now I want to get back there.

Some other hard hitting facts about me: I'm battling the male form of anorexia - over time my mind has been trained that I must exercise to rid of the food I've eaten. I also have a food addiction which makes it hard to stop eating when I'm full. I try everyday to have a good relationship with not only food, but myself!
