I am a 31 year old single mother of 2 girls. I am just tired of being tired. I feel like I have no energy. I dropped down to 132 lbs. after my second daughter was born 9 years ago. I have gotten way too comfortable over the last couple of years and now weigh 170lbs. I really just want to be healthy and be able to play with my kids.

NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE!!! NEW TO SITE!!
Hi Donna! I'm fairly new to the site also and don't have many buddies. Here are a couple things that I have learned about excercising and eating healty:

Treadmills are great. Start slow and work your way up. While your walking, throw in a minute of running.

Don't neglect weight training. I have 5lb weights that I use. I alternate between cardio and muscle toning during the week.

You are not on a diet, you are eating healthy. Smaller portions, healthy snacks between meals, low fat or fat free dairy.

Do not get discouraged if you have a bad day and slip up. Tomorrow starts with a clean slate.
