I actually should have updated sooner. I foolishly recorded 224 lbs when actually i had significantly dropped those pounds due to sickness. So of course when I reintroduced food into my life, i gained some back. So I actually was at 227.8 and now am at 225.4.

I am doing awesomely, and the scale is a lying skank-ho. ;-) My pants are literally falling off of me, to the point that I nearly mooned some people in the hallway at work a few days ago. I seriously need to go shopping. This weight loss thing is expensive! Haha, but wait...SO SO SOOOO worth it!

I feel freaking amazing and am so grateful for the strength and able-bodiedness (is that a word?) God has given me, the team of awesome health professionals (personal trainer and registered dietician, and an occasional massage therapist) who are guiding me. The support system I have in my incredible family and close friends. Holy crap, I am so blessed it's crazy.

I can't wait to help others in their journey.

Well, the scale isn't moving, but I sure have received a tonne of compliments the last two weeks. People (both familiar and acquaintances) have commented on my shrinking waistline, hips, and thighs. It's an awesome feeling! And, frankly, it feels better than me just marking down a smaller scale number. AND...I have been killing it at the gym, not just with my trainer, but pushing myself to a dripping, sweaty, exhausted state. Boy does that feel fantastic!!

I will keep pressing on. The scale is a lying beeotch most of the time anyway. I have a body comp this evening which will shed light on the stuff that matters: lean body mass and body fat percentages. Those matter to me so much more than the scale.

Onward I go! And it's the weekend, so I fully admit I will be having some treats/takeout/maybe movie popcorn/whatever. But I will not have some sort of "epic cheat day" or kill my whole weekend. That makes Monday so much harder and I will not go back to that.
