I started eating to lose weight 22/1/2017. I am apple shaped with a bulgy middle section that looks dreadful not to mention the health risks. I am 60 years old and don't want to continue being out of shape, although round is a shape. I'm tired all the time and suffer from a chronic case of "can't be bothered -itis". i detest exercise by am doing 20 minutes 3 times a week of low impact exercises. Being a vegetarian, I find it hard at the best of times to get enough protein so am researching high protein options so my energy levels can improve.

58 and strugging to lose
Thank you Ingria, RcKc and BriggsR2 for your support and advice. I am following a high protein, low carb CSIRO diet. ( i am a pescotarian. That is Vegetarian with eggs dairy and fish) Couldn't face another tin of salmon. I am determined to keep on track. I am going to Tasmania for 4 days at the end of the week so I will "mix it up" here with plenty of opportunities to walk in national parks. Also plenty of local seafood and produce....oooaahhhh. Talking with other people in the same situation really keeps me on board, Thanks again.

58 and strugging to lose
I am devastated this week. I have been steadily losing up to 1 & 1/2 pounds per week and haven't deviated from my diet plan. But this week nothing at all. I can't cut down any further on calories or I'll have no energy at all. I am having loads of protein foods. I am less than half way to my goal. I walk for and do resistance band exercise. Any advice.
