Hey guys! Well, im from ireland, I'm 22 and a proud mum of a beautiful 1 year old boy! When I was younger I never had any problem with my weight and definitely took for granted that I could eat what I wanted, but since I became pregnant and since I've had my little boy I find the weight doesn't shift easily anymore.. I tend to eat mindlessly during the day, ive got into serious bad habits, and as my son demands a lot of attention during the day it is very hard to get in a workout unless I stay up late/get up very early..! I've finally decided my habits need to change..I have a very small frame and am only about 5ft so any excess weight makes me look very over-weight, and I've decided it stops here!!

So anyone looking for a buddy for support let me know, I could do with you too!!:)

Juicing!!
For anyone out there that finds it hard to eat fruit and veg I highly recommend juicing! (Not blending, juicing..Google the difference if you're unsure!) I started taking fruit and veg in juice form in March as a way of adding a high dose of goodness to my diet without having to eat a heap of vegetables and I can't stress enough how completely awesome it had been for me! Not only is my skin and hair glowing but because it has boost my immune system so much, I didn't suffer with hay fever all summer and am yet to get a cold now that it's winter! I have so much more energy and honestly I couldn't be without it daily..it's like after all these years my body finally has the nutrition it needs to work efficiently in all aspects of life, and of course it made weightloss a bit easier as my body has been working on top form. You can have one for breakfast or with lunch or dinner, just get those veggies in and you will notice a difference in your energy levels within 3 days I can almost guarantee!! Of course it's great if you can eat away at veggies, this is really just to help people who find it difficult like myself.. Best of luck to everyone on their journey Smile

Needing advice
I found weight impossible to lose after I was on the depo provera because my hormones were so out of whack, it was only when they started to regulate again did any weight start to shift. Adding cod liver oil and flaxseed to my diet helped a lot and I also had reflexology which definitely helped! I am only 24 and never would have considered the vital role hormones play in this before it happened to me so it's worth a try, best of luck! X

Come on really?
I wouldn't stress about the number on the scale..take your body measurements and track those instead,if your clothes fit better and your stomach looks flatter sounds to me like you're not doing anything wrong! Keep it up,whatever you're doing it sounds like its working Smile

Depo Provera
Hey everyone! I just wanted to update this to try to help anyone who had the same problem I did with weight gain on depo Provera..things have finally turned around for me and I have to put it down to these three things; reflexology,cod liver oil and flaxseed. I knew that people used reflexology for fertility reasons and thought I'd give it a go to try and help my periods come back..when I explained to my reflexologist about the depo etc she advised me to take cod liver oil and flaxseed as they are good for hormone regulation and could help, so I went out and bought some.. Girls in three weeks (two reflexology sessions and taking the cod liver oil and flaxseed most days) not only did I lose 6lbs but my period is back!! It's the first bit of weightloss I've had in about a year,and I will add id given up on the gym and very strict diet when I lost this weight..(not eating very bad but allowed myself alcohol and chocolate!) So if anyone sees this and was having weight problems from the depo I strongly recommend these three things to help your body recover Smile good luck!!
