Ok, so... its been a long time. I have definitely fallen off the wagon. I've made some half-hearted attempts to correct myself, but I haven't recorded anything... and that's a short coming. It needs to be corrected. I spent the morning reading through old journal entries to see what I was doing back in the day.

My husband and I have finally given up on the idea of having children. Years of fertility treatments were not kind to my body. In addition, I was upset with it for not giving me something I so desperately wanted, and I was not kind.

I need to be better. For myself. For my husband. We have adapted to a lifestyle that really isn't conducive to being severely overweight. I want to change.

So. I know I do well with a 50/50/100. 50 grams of fat/50 protein/100 carbs. I'm going to start with 2000 calories and work my way from there.

I will also give myself one meal a week where I don't stress over counts. It worked well for me before.

I also know I do well with goals, so here we are.

280 - Now (for rounding sake)
270 - End of May?
260 - Big party July 12?
Under 250 - Fancy trip in November for Anniversary

Goal Weight? I have had some testing done, extensively because of the fertility treatments, about what my weight does to my body. I am a rather tall woman, and according to several specialists, I will never be the 160 or 170 that is recommended. The highest goal weight I have heard for myself is 220. So, I'm going to start there. If I feel amazing, it may be enough. For vanity sake, I would love to weigh under 200, but it may not be in the cards for me. It will be enough to feel healthy. Let's see how it goes.
