So...I'm turning 30 in May and want to be in the best shape of my life. I'm currently training for the Chicago Triathalon (it's in August) and plan on doing a few shorter races before then. My goal is to lose fat and build muscle...become a lean, mean, calorie burning machine! I love to eat and drink so I want to build muscle and increase my basal metabolic rate so I burn more calories throughout the day (and while sleeping!). I think this is the key to success and involves a clean diet with a variety of exercise (cardio, weights, yoga). I'm single, dating (kind of a lot), live in the city of Chicago with my best friend Jill and my pooch Zephyr (pictured). I work in sales (construction) which involves a lot of entertaining(dining out, golf, early morning meetings, travel) so maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise schedule can be difficult at times but I'm determined to reach my goal and finally be able to fit into my second closet full of size 0, extra small and size 25 jeans.
