Period and Atkins
Happens to me! I gain 4 kgs I just don't bother weighing myself and getting worked up because it is soooo all over the place at that time of the month
weigh yourself once a week and in the morning. Don't worry if it seems like your body slows weight loss or doesn't show any weight loss on the scales after 2 weeks -this is something your body does when you lose weight. your body holds onto water. wait until weeks 5-6 to notice the drop again. This is one of the biggest lessons I learnt. take photos and measurements

question about fats and protien
Hi,

I agree with Jozette. I have been doing the Atkins diet and it has been quite slow weight loss recently (I think because I am at my natural weight and close to where I would like to be, about 5 kgs off) So I did some major research-I have so much time at work haha. I read a lot of Body building forums and asked some of them qs. They are real pros, they know their stuff! For a woman you want to cut down to 1200 calories including women who don't really exercise much. Don't ever go below 1000 calories it will do more harm than good. With the pie diagram you want to aim for about 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carb-that is hard but a good goal or a good idea of ratios. Unsaturated fats work best and unprocessed food but harder I know. Sounds like you are on the right track though!
