Back at the weight loss. I got busy for awhile. I still exercised and tried to eat well. Work, travel, and life-changing events got in the way. I didn't have much time to log food and activities.

I got some motivation from my sister and BIL. They started this thing called RM3 with Red Mountain Weight Loss in Phoenix. I think it consists of a strict diet, some kind of weekly shots, and some kind of oral supplement. My BIL is down about 35 pounds. Sis is down about 20.

I can't afford the $$$ they fork out to do this kind of program, but I did take a few pages from their diet plan. So far, that seems to be working. Each day I have up to 5 servings of veggies, 4 fruit, 3 carbs/dairy, 12 protein, 1 healthy fat, 1 seeds/dressing, and 3 oils/nut butters. I usually do not eat all of that, but it is nice to know I have some extra if I'm hungry.

I've been hitting the gym pretty hard. I'm doing the Body Beast program by Beach Body. The program has different rep ranges thrown into single sets, super sets, giant sets. I won't get super strong or look like the trainer in the video. I am getting a good fat-burning workout. Lungs get taxed on leg day. Most days I reach failure just because of the high intensity, short rest exercise. I just cannot lift any more. I love that feeling.
