I am mostly deskbound and work long hours (need to get a life). My husband and I both try to eat healthy but usually eat too much even if it is the right foods (often the wrong foods though). I love gardening, hiking, cycling, swimming, walking, cooking (and eating) but winter has been so long and so depressing this year - I know that I need to get moving but when the skies are gray and the wind is blowing, it is not easy. We never seem to do much of anything in winter and I get depressed. I am a Weight Watchers Lifetime member but blew it when I went on an overseas vacation last summer and have not been back to WW since then although I am following the diet online - that really does help but fatsecret is more inspiration. If my WW leader had been even remotely tough on me, maybe I wouldn't have put on that nasty 8-10 pounds that are proving almost impossible to lose.

Together we can do it .. inspiration is key. My inspiration right now is only that I do not feel as comfortable in my clothes as I did last year and I want to get into my shorts in summer. Since I work from home, I can wear shorts all summer long ;)

Montana is home right now but I was born and raised overseas and have lived in a couple of countries before settling in America and finding my way to Montana.

Drivers License Weight vs. Actual Weight
Oh my goodness - this is awesome, thank you so much everyone. This made me look at my DL and I saw that 4 years ago when I got it, I weighed 170 lbs. Now my current struggle doesn't seem nearly as bad
current weight: 151
WW goal weight: 145
My goal weight: 140

Recording WW Points
I have given up on the new Points plus because using 0 points for all the fruit that I eat, means that I am not losing anything and sometimes gaining. I have been seeing posts about using the old points systems here in in fatsecret and I would love to see those old points - where can you use the points system?

Another great plus in my eyes would be to be able to record measurements when we record weight, that way we can see a chart or something about losing the inches when the weight is not going down as well as we expect - any ideas how we can do that ?

thanks!

WW Points -- Kinda Sorta Back?
hmm I never thought about using WW points in fatscret because I use WW online - I am actually using fatsecret to see the truth because I don't like the WW+ since I eat mostly fruit and veggies and everything is 0 points it looks as though I am not eating all my points when I know that it is possible to eat too much F & V. I don't trust the Points Plus since I found out that Oranges are bad for diabetics because they contain so much sugar but they are still 0 points? and how is it that a small little tangerine (mandarin orange) is 0 points but when it is the only item in a recipe that same tangerine becomes 2 points? when is a point a point. So what I have been doing is recording my food in WW online then recording it as well in fatsecret and seeing how my caloric intake is comparing to my daily use, what my fat (there is fat in mangos and oranges et al?) and carbs balance picture looks like.
