How do I remain motivated?
Sounds like you've got a good plan and you're exercising, which is so key to wt. loss. Remember to cut calories too. You have to burn more than you consume. Keep track on exercise and calories burned.

Bad gym buddies...

had weight loss surgery worry about protein or calories?
First and most importantly is to find out from your doctor exactly what he/she recommends. Ask for a referral to a registered dietician. Post-gastric bypasses is very important and you need to learn how and what and when to eat. Follow you doctor's advise.
