Lost nearly 25 lbs of body fat and and gained about 14 lbs. of muscle in one year.

I hadn't logged a weight for quite some time, as I really have been loosing any weight despite watching what I eat, limiting my carbs, and exercising religiously (weights and cardio) 3 to 5 times per week. (although I have noticed my stomach is flatter and I have much more muscle tone).

The first week in August was one year since I joined the fitness club at work and they allow you one free body composition analysis per year, so I decided to see what a years worth of work got me.

I was pleasantly surprised. In August of 2006 I was nearly 210 lbs. and my body fat percentage was at 29.4% (that comes out to about 62 lbs of fat that I was carrying around). I now weigh 195 lbs. and my body fat percentage is 19% (that's 37 lbs of fat or a loss of about 40% of the body fat I had a year ago).

From now on I'm taking the advise of the fitness instructor at work, and not worrying about my weight, but instead focusing on decreasing my bodyfat.
My new goal is to maintain 19% bodyfat through the Holidays (that would be a major win), then shoot for 16% bodyfat by May 2008. Wish me luck!!!
