Damnpandemic
Been off FS for a year now and the pandemic hasn't bothered me much other than the 12 pounds I have put on. Today I'm back with my FS family so lets see if I can catch up. Wishing you all the best in the new uncertain year. Persevere.

Persevere to conquer
Almost there! One more pound to go and I reach my goal of 175 lbs. I follow a few of you and can sure identify with the cravings, slips, mood swings, temptations and the excitement to see a few pounds disappear. I've had a few setbacks over the last two(I can't believe it) years but with a ton of resistance and perseverance I've gone from 216 lbs to 176 lbs. It is very difficult to eat my salads, oatmeal, etc when the five other members of my family are chowing down on spaghetti, meat loaf, chicken, etc, all in large quantities and at the same table. But with my scale and FS I stuck with it. It is not easy but I urge my fellow FS members to stay the course, the end is fantastic. The pain in my hips has gone, I feel better and can now look in a mirror without cringing. On this Easter weekend I am reminded that walking with my saviour gives me the strength when I most need it.
God bless you all and may you be protected from the virus.

Back in the family
25 November 2019
Back again after a 14 month hiatus. I have been on prednisone since Oct.2018 and have gained 25 unwanted pounds. I will be weaned off the drug on Dec.14 so I have now started back on FS to get back down to 175 lbs. I noticed a lot of new members. Glad to have you with us and wish you the best.
Kelly140, are you still with us?

Constipation issues
Apparently a high protein can cause constipation. I have been eating two or three figs or prunes each day and Metamucil once or twice a week. This has helped a bit. I mentioned this to my chiropractor and he said he might be able to help. One correction and it helped substantially. A few more corrections might do it.
