Goal Weight
190.0 lb
Still to go: 18.0 lb
I am a 57 year old male, but look and feel much younger. I tell people I'm very immature for my age. I am usually quite active unless I get hurt (latest was shoulder which took forever to heal). I have been yo-yoing between 190# and 210# for a long time. I am 6'-2" so I have to gain 20# before it really shows too badly. I live in SE FL and offshore fish and dive a lot. I eat a lot of seafood. Wearing few clothes on the boat it is not as easy to hide the extra pounds... My goal is to get down to around 185 so I can finally fit back into that stack of Levis that I haven't fit into in 15+ years. I was almost there last year and then got lazy and put it all on again. Once I hit my goal, I need to just maintain. That is the hardest part.

Adding a Recipe to My Cookbook on Fatsecret - Question
It used to do it automatically. I just checked some recipes in my cookbook and it worked for me before. I do recall that if I tried to save the recipe and forgot something, all the stuff entered up at the top goes away. See if you can edit the recipe and go add the info back in at the top of the page.

Subscribe To WeBMd Or Forget The Whole Exercise!
I belong. Some of their info is too general but for the most part, there is lots of great info and great links to other awesome websites. I agree.

First Day!! Let's do this!!
I have found that counting calories and logging is about the only thing that works for me. I tried the low carb high fat diet this time and it does keep me from being hungry all the time, but the key is to eat less than your RDI and, if you can, exercise. Just start by walking. Good luck Thunder! You can do it!

HIGH FAT AND WEIGHT LOSS
Okay, so coffin staples; not nails? We may be able to pry that baby open a few times later in life after all.
