I am a 35 yr old male, who works in the BC Oilfields. I do not have regular hours, but I do have a 2 week on shift/1 week off shift schedule. I have a 3yr old son and a 1 yr old daughter, and a loving wife. I want to be an active father, and promote outdoor living/activity. I was at 264 lbs now at 213, my goal is 180 (recomended for my hight/age) I think I may be too small at that size, but we will see how I feel then. Wow...thats a significant weight loss simonp403.. Good Job.

While I do agree with paperiniko on the P90X working well to fill in the sagginess with muscle... its pretty hardcore. And with your prolapsed discs.. I think it may be too extreme because there is a huge range of motion required. I also agree that the sagging is inevitable unless you are quite young... and have many years for you skin to retract to your new body size.

I went from 270 lbs down to 188 lbs... and it wasn't until I was below 200 lbs, that I really noticed my "MOOBS" going away. My advice... keep on track..keep doing what you are doing and eventually your skin may adapt, like mine has.

Also... on another note.. If you work your chest muscles..thinking it will burn more fat in that area.. it won't. You will lose over the entire body when burning fat. You will on the other hand build muscle there...filling in the saggy moobs, turning them into ripped pecs =)

Gaining weight
I am in the exact same boat.... 188 lbs just before x-mas, now around 206. I have just got most of my rythem back.... and it started with logging my food, and realizing just how bad I was eating. I miss that skinny/fit feeling already... and its only been a month ! How do you want to look and feel...... Focus.... you can do it, you got there before, "theoretically" maintaining should be easy....... right ?

Workout
P90X as well (although I did fall off the wagon) When I get back from camp I will be getting back into it. I am at the end of phase 1, but due to my schedule the workouts are not everyday as it should be. Great program, great results. Keep it up and let us know how your results are coming along.

The secret
Haha...... TOO TRUE ! After I cut my drinking to 3 times a month or so.... I found that I had way more time and ambition to do other things. It was a bit of a tough pill for me to swollow as well, being that I only really drank when I was at pubs..... and now I really miss the pub life ! Family and health from now on though... and thats never a bad thing ! Keep it up, as hard as it may be =)
