So Funny.. after losing over 100 lbs and holding there for about a year, I wanted to start gaining some weight in the form of new muscle tissue. I ate more than usual last week and eneded up losing 1 lb. Very wierd getting dissapointed seeing the number on the scale going down!

A little over 2 years has passed since joining Fat Secret. I educated myself well and embraced and put into practise the teachings of Dr.Atkins. I wish he was alive today to thank him for giving me this new life. During year 1 I passed through all the stages and confirmed that carbs is the devil. During year 2, I went back to an every day diet but still limit the carbs I eat and have changed the type of carbs I eat to the slow carb version. White potatoes/corn should be removed from the vegetable list and put on a junk food list, the same with anything made with white flour. Save the corn for bio fuel and fattening up livestock for slaughter. Corn makes humans fat, it's sugar called a vegetable. Shame on the United States Department of Agriculture for making that food guide. I have created my own food pyramid to live by and I'm as healthy as can possibly be.
I just stocked up on some muscle building protein powder. This may sound funny and I never thought I'd be saying this.. but.. Now it's time to put some weight back on so in the form of new muscle tissue. I'll be 49 this year and I'll be walking around shirtless sporting a ripped 6 pack. It's looking pretty good so far. I'm in good shape now but by summer I'll have a grade 'AAA' body. Not shabby for an old guy. Like McDonalds says "I'm loving it" , except I'm not a greasy fat guy any more.
