Hello!!! I just found this website and it seems pretty cool. I am 35 years old and a single mom of a beautiful 2 year old daughter. For the past two years, I have been gaining weight like crazy. I used to be an avid runner but just stopped doing any kind of activity and watching what I ate. The past two years have been difficult for me because of some personal issues, but this year I have chosen to get back to where I was before. I want to be able to live a healthier life for my baby girl and to feel good about myself. Plus my last doctor's visit was not that great. I started yesterday with my diet and began walking for an hour in the morning. Two days, but I have a long way to go. I am keeping a food journal and keeping track of my calorie intake. I hope and pray that I could keep this lifestyle up. It is just so hard because I have a full time job, a part time job, I am going to school, and I have my daughter. I feel these are just excuses, but it is hard keeping up with all of my duties and being a single mom. None the less, I am excited about taking this new journey and teaching my daughter to be healthy.
