Haha, haven't updated my bio in a while! In almost a year!
I started my weight loss journey (before I joined this site) in March of 2009. I am 5'4" and 171 lbs. was my highest weight. I think that's bordering on obese...? In March of last year, I began to eat more healthy and got off of some of the medications I was on that were causing serious weight gain.
In May of 2009, I began to exercise seriously. Before that I had been doing it kinda here and there, but in May I started to exercise every day of the week. I think I started out with 30 mins per day. It started out with the Nintendo Wii, and I've continued with that! It's been working for me, so why not?
Now, in February 2010, I have lost 56 lbs so far. I have gone from 171 lbs. to 115 lbs. Lost the bulk of it in about six months (I think 40 pounds), and the remaining has been EXTREMELY slow to come off. I still work out every day, and am still using the Wii, but I also kickbox, dance, jump rope, and strength train too. My workouts range from 1.5 hrs to 2.5 hrs per day. I just have a lot of fun exercising!
So anyway, it was about time that I update my bio. There! Thank you very much for reading:)
