I am 52 years young. I live in PA and have been heavy since 1982 when I had my daughter. I weighed 310 lbs at christmas last year(2009). My husband bought me a wii fit for x-mas and I started watching what I ate and started loosing weight. I have lost 65 lbs in the past year and am working on loosing more. We have started a weight loss program at work and I am the team caption for one of the teams. We can win prizes for weight lost. I had been following the Weight Watchers program but hardly ever ate enough to use all the points allowed for the week. I think my body shut down and went into starvation mode. I usually only lost a lb or 2 a week. When I found this site I started eating around 2000 calories a day and have been loosing 1 to 2 lbs a day. I am hoping to loose another 90 lbs but taking it slowly about 20 lbs at a time.
