Today was another long day. This time not because of lack of sleep but because of the weather. Normally I don't mind snow days, not one bit, today though.... the snow canceled both of my classes! I understand why they were canceled I'm just pretty irritated about it. Sometimes it feels like just when I get into the swing of things something stops forward motion. At the moment it's still snowing so I'm pretty sure that everything for tomorrow is canceled too. I guess I'm just in a mood, feeling a bit negative, which is never a good thing. I have my own mini gym so I will use the stationary bike, do some yoga and possibly some hooping in a bit, so it isn't like I won't get a workout in, it just won't be the one I was looking forward to all day. I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to weight training... maybe that's why it's snowing. Weights have never ever been something I've enjoyed using but then I also used to be one of those people that didn't care for workout groups. I remember thinking how much I was going to dislike having other people watch me exercise. Now I don't think about it at all and I actually enjoy the interaction with other people, it keeps me motivated. Working out on your own can get boring and I've found ways to keep entertained but it isn't quite the same. Using the stationary bike I usually load an anime or Jdrama in Japanese with subtitles, while I do understand some of the language the subtitles ensure that I pay attention to what's happening on screen instead of staring at the numbers on the bike's display screen. The same trick comes in handy on the treadmill though it is a little more tricky when speed walking and trying to read at the same time... maybe that's just me. Lol. I can hardly wait until the evenings get longer and I can get out for a long walk.

Food-wise things have been ok, though it is harder figuring out calories with home cooked meals. I have the hardest time trying to figure out how to convert dry pasta to cooked pasta servings... If anyone reads this and knows how pleaseeeeeeeee let me know. I'll thank you forever. I have been avoiding pasta lately but we've had it twice this week. My calorie counts for both meals are probably wrong I tried to up the calories a lot more than what I thought they would be.
