Start Weight
135.9 lb
Lost so far: 0.5 lb

Current Weight
136.4 lb
Performance: gaining 2.0 lb a week

Goal Weight
130.0 lb
Still to go: 6.4 lb
I have decided that I needed to lose weight around Christmas when I weighed 152 lbs: not the most the scale has ever showed but high enough that I needed to do something about it. I started doing yoga, going to the gym, and running. I also stopped eating meat (for more reasons than weight loss). In 3 months I lost 12 pounds and have been at 138-140 ever since then, without any further progress. That is why I decided to get on this site and actually monitor how much I am eating and make sure that I am getting the nutrition I need and not much more. So far it has shown me that even though I am eating healthy, I could reduce my portions a lot, but I still have not moved much from my 138-140 plateau.
My goal is to be 125 lbs by the end of June - that gives me two months from now.

5/23/10:
weight: 136lbs
waist: 28in
hips: 36in
stomach (my main problem area): 33in
neck: 12in
calf: 13 1/2in
wrist: 6 1/2in
chest: 33in

Goal: weight: 125lbs
waist: 27in
hips: 36in
stomach: 30in
calf: 14 1/2in

Still need to find out my real BMI, get it done at a gym or doctor

Goat Cheese
I scramble my eggs with it - it makes them really creamy and fluffy and wonderful flavor too.

Belly Fat
Thanks for the encouragement ladies!

@enu021000: thanks for the advice, that actually reminded me that I have to do more cardio. I got caught up in strength training and have been slacking off on sweating and running... I actually just signed up for the SF Nike Women's Marathon and will begin training next sunday so that should give me enough cardio.

As far as diet goes, I am always conscious of eating more natural, whole foods and don't eat a lot of fake sugars and buy mostly organic but I will look into basic foods. I didn't know that it made a difference. Thanks Smile

Belly Fat
I am having a really hard time losing fat off my belly. I work out every day, I am getting better muscle tone everywhere, places that I have not had muscles before, I am eating healthy (I don't eat fastfood or meat, don't drink alcohol except an occasional glass of wine). I was losing weight for a while and hit a plateau but I can tell that I am gaining muscle.

But no matter what, I still have a lot of fat on my stomach and a little on my back. I do ab exercises and the Ab Ripper X from P90X but nothing works. Any ideas on how I can lose about 5-10 lbs from my belly?

confused on the RDI thingy
What you want is definitely for the net calories to be down every day because that is how you lose weight - burning more than you take in, but it is also good to keep you calorie intake lower. The more negative net calories you have the quicker you will lose weight.

For example, my RDI is 2000 and I usually burn about 2400 calories in a day, but I try to eat less than that, about 1600-1700. You get quicker results that way. Just make sure you are nourished and don't burn out and give up.

Hope that helps Smile
