I am on a journey to a new me.

I never actually had a problem with my weight until after I had my son. Well he is 4yrs old now and I can no longer blame it on the pregnancy.

I have decided that I need to get healthy and loss weight, not only for me but for my son. I want to become more active with my son and my weight sometimes hinder me.

I use to love my body but now sometimes I look at myself and get so disgusted. I had to change my out-look on life so that I could be mentally and physically motivated to start this journey toward weight loss. In this journey I plan to achieve a new me and a new way of living.

THIS IS MY JOURNEY TOWARD SUCCESS!!!!

Are you hungry after you work out?
I do some of all types of exercise ( cardio and weights). I didnt know that I could eat that late because Im usually finish working out like midnight...but I will definately add more protein to my diet after working out...I was just worried that if I ate that late I might put back on some of the weight. Thank you all for the input.

Tilapia!! Haunting me... Help!
I make this Tilapia dish all the time. I take Tilapia fillets and season them with seasoned salt and black pepper. Next, I take a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup and spread it on top of the fillets until they are fully coated. Then place it in the oven and bake for about 10 mins. Then take out the oven and sprinkle some FRENCH'S Original or Cheddar French Fried Onions on top. Then place back in the oven and bake until onions are crispy brown and done.

Are you hungry after you work out?
I work out every night after I get off work for an hour. After I finish working out I get so hungry. I don't eat anything after 6pm. What should I do? Is this normal?

Single mom who needs to lose over 100 lbs
Hi Jen. I am new to fatsecret. I am 29 years old with a 4yr old son. I started my weight loss journey right after christmas. When I stepped on the scale and saw 253 I almost passed out. So I pushed myself to change my life style and so far I have lost 31 lbs. I know what your going thru because I still have 82 more pounds to go. It do get hard when everyone around you is eating so many unhealthy things but you just have to stay focus. I put up alot of inspirational items to keep me motivated, like pictures, sayings, and goal rewards. Keep up the good work and remember that this is one journey that will not only be rewarding physically but mentally also.
