I was on Atkins diet for 4 years & felt like a million bucks. Was diagnosed with an unknown autoimmune disease after my last pregnancy and Atkins diet was blamed. Stopped Atkins and gained 40 pounds. Very sick from all the meds and extra weight. Now the doctors tell me it wasn't Atkins! Sick of listening to them. Back on Atkins & ready to get healthy again. I will do it my way.
