Ok, so I FINALLY added the picture that alerted me to how bad I looked and how bad I actually felt about how I looked. The picture posted was taken Senior Night at my son's football game & this was Oct 28, 2011.

Seeing this picture posted online on the schools athletic website made me angry, saddened and embarassed. I'd tried everything and would lose small amounts of weight but that plus 10 or 20 would come back, I had almost given up but I went to see a nutritionist. I found out that at 5'5" tall, I was morbidly obese and 76lbs over weight. There was a list of things that could have been wrong with me or I had the potential to have happen but by the grace of God, none of it was there. No high blood pressure, no diabetes, nothing so I decided it's time.

I started out using Phentermine for the first three months because I would be eating extremely small portions of food, my calorie intake would be 1000 and less per day. I was told it would take 90days before my body would realize I am not starving myself and began to see / feel results.

Well I am almost a full year into my healthier eating habits and though my exercise isn't really consistent, I am 53lbs smaller (yayyy me). My doctor wants me to lose another 23lbs but I am not feeling the need to be where she wants me to be.

My food portion sizes are still really small but my body lets me know I don't need nor can it use the amount of food I was eating. Water, water, water is the drink of choice for me now (aside from the occasional glass or two of wine). From this point on, I am focusing on getting the exercise right so that I can tone-up, strengthen and maintain the current weight.
