It gets harder and harder every day to stay away from all of the foods I used to eat! I have been craving the bad things since I have decided to do something better for myself. Obviously, looking at my diet calendar you can see that I am not taking out things I like completely, but eating them in moderation. I have been substituting the things I want to eat with healthier choices. When I want sweets, I eat fruit rather than some ice cream. When I want something salty, I eat a limited amount of sunflower seeds on my salad. I am really trying, but I am craving the bad things in life! Chinese is my enemy! I think about it all the time, but I am really trying to drink lots of water to make sure that I fill up before I eat and try to stay in my calorie goal of 1200 a day. Awww...the joys of dieting! ;)

Awww...what a beautiful day it is! I am very blessed to be alive and yes, I am still disappointed at myself for the way I look, but today I have turned a new leaf. I was at the gym this morning working out, went to subway and a great breakfast sandwhich (instead of a footlong with bacon), apple slices (instead of the chips I usually get), and milk (instead of soda). Starting off small, but it will turn into something bigger! I just need to keep telling myself, I CAN DO THIS!

I was feeling pretty good about myself until I got on the scale yesterday and my whole world started to spiral. I feel like I haven't achieved any goals of mine and I had lost 20 pounds, just go gain it plus 10 more pounds. I don't have a very good support system and I am wishing that some people in my life were more supportive of me. I used to workout with a friend, that really helped, but our schedules don't match up anymore. What should I do? I am feeling no motivation what so ever.
