I never really struggled with my weight until after having my children. I then was able to get my under control, but dealt with a medical issue almost 10 years ago, that had me on medication temporarily that affected my weight. It's been a real struggle ever since. I know how to eat healthy, but in all honesty I love food, and not all of it good. I am on this journey to be able to finally say that I overcame my issues with weight, and will NOT struggle with it again. I am deteremined to make a lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise! As a wife and mother, my family deserves the best ME!

T.O.M/Cravings help
Hello Fatsecret comminity. I just started my hcg diet plan on Saturday, my cycle starts in 3 days and the carb cravings are kicking in big time.

I will glady take any advice or input any of you may have to offer, because right now I'm craving firey hot cheetos really bad, lol! BTW, this happens every month like clockwork.

HCG Diet question
Thank you both for the input. At the time I posted my message, I was at work and had cheese for a snack. I of course opted not to eat it at the time. I am doing 800 calories, because it's now warm out and I will be spending a lot of time at the pool doing laps.

I have done the hcg diet before, and it has worked, but when I changed positions at my old job, and began stress eating the weight came back on. I'm very aware of how to eat healthy, non processed food, but sometimes when you're under stres and a stress eater, the healthy non processed food isn't what you go for. I know it works, but the choices of what goes in my body are still just that, my choices. So as the weight drops, and I stay accountable to the groups on fatsecret, I forsee long term success.

Thank you again,
Kailu

Exercise: Done, Day 3: low 800 calories done
Ok, here's the low down. I swam slow laps at the pool this evening for 30 minutes. I'm very proud of my efforts and felt better for sticking to it. According to fatsecret I burned 168 calories. I also finished my calorie day at 798.

New day, new journey
I realized rather quickly how out of shape I was, and in honesty I don't have the courage to swim in anything other than a pool. My plan is to walk the trail at the lake near our house which is 3.5 miles around, and then to swim on the other days. I just need the focus of accomplishing my first low-cal day. Due to the fact that I'm planning on exercising, I will be doing 800 days in place of the 500. A leisurely walk and casual swimming in a pool should be okay. Take care, and thanks for the replies.

HCG Diet question
From all the reading I've done, I can't tell if I'm allowed to have cheese or almonds? Can anyone let me know if that is possible? A detailed list of the allowed foods would be my preference.
