I haven't gotten on the scales for a bit. I am waiting for Friday. I wanted to be patient this time. My clothing is feeling better every day! I have REALLY noticed my jeans. BUT then I tried on a swim suit! YIKES!!! That was scary!!!! A cute little swim suit can really keep you humble! No illusions there!
I am joining "Team in Training", on November 5th! I am so excited to start a running club. "Team in Training" or "TNT" is an organization for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They raise funds to help find cures for cancer. If you are interested go to www.team in trainng .org (remove the spaces). Sorry to give a plug, but I am a fan!!

Today is a long run day. My knee feels good and I really want to get out and run today. The weather is getting colder by the day so I need to take advantage of the last days of "snow-free" running. My son likes to go in the jogging stroller so it will be a great way for us to spend time playing and get something acomplished!
I have had several co-workers ask how much weight I have lost! The amount of pounds doesn't seem significant to me, but who am I to argue!! I am even more excited to stick with this lifestyle when I know I am getting somewhere!
Thanks to all here on FS! I like reading and getting tips! It helps to have all this support!

I just tweeked my knee. I am not sure if I did it during training or if I pushed itt too far on my run. I am going to keep doing some cross training and not run for a few days. This does NOT help with my training program! DANG!

I sucked this week.......I fell into that old bad habit of seeing what family or friends were eating, and failed at resisting temptation.....I felt so yucky when I ate badly. One thing I learned was I feel like crap when I eat crap. I feel good when I eat good! If it's a lesson learned then I need to keep remembering that lesson!
