I'm a 49 year old elementary school principal. I'm married to an awesome lady (30 years) and father of a son and daughter. We have one grandchild. Before entering the education field, I spent 20 years in the Air Force. On a doctor visit on July 13th, 2011, I weighed 317. The doc fussed and it was of course a wake up call. I have used this site faithfully and stuck to a 1800 calorie diet very well(actually averaging < than 1500). Goal weight is 200. Very successful so far. My busy schedule makes it difficult to get the exercise I need but the weight is coming off. I have swore off sweets altogether despite frequent temptations at work.

- Down nearly 90. I knocked my calorie limit back to 1,500 and averaging in the 1,300's. Strict adherence to food diary even on binge days has helped. I believe it is important to indulge once in a while. Pizza, biscuits and gravy, and other high cal favorites. Even sweets occasionally. I typically treat myself after milestones(like each 10 pounds). Have really picked up exercise the last 2 months. Jogging at least a 5K five or six days a week. Have signed up for two 5K events over the next two months.
