i need a little help from you
I'm somewhat in the same boat as you, though I've never been super skinny. I'm typically average weight, but in my efforts to try to get to my healthiest weight, my weight has been going up and down. Right now it's up, so I'm reaching out to others as well.

I find that if you wait to reach a goal before going out, that will just hold you back even more. When I stay in and keep to myself, I tend to gain. So I think being outside and staying active (which is where I currently need the motivation), will allow you to have fun and be social at the same time. I hope I was able to help. Also remember that you are your worst critic. I am self-conscious of myself in other area of my life, and I've come to realize that people don't really care. It's not that they don't care about you if they are friends, but each person is involved in their own thoughts about themselves and they might not pay attention to the things you are self-conscious about.

Looking for accountability buddy
Thanks. I signed up, but I'm having a little trouble navigating the site. I'll check it out more tomorrow. It isn't really necessary to diet with someone from my local area (New Jersey). I'm really just looking for mutual support (by email or through this site) to stay on track and maintain a healthy lifestyle. My weight it not terrible at the moment, but grad school has really taken a toll on my healthy living habits. I just need some motivation.

Looking for accountability buddy
Hi.

I'm a 37 year old teacher and have a very busy lifestyle during the school year. I have used this website for about a year or so. I only seem to stick with it for 2 week periods and do well, but then I get into bad habits again. Please add me if you'd like to help motivate each other. I just started a journal to make myself more accountable and would love comments and motivation to stay on track when things are extremely busy and also when I feel lazy.
