I am 43 years old, diabetic(2)and I do not smoke or drink. I am a college graduate holding two degrees in Accounting and the other in Marketing. I am disabled and can not get around as well as I should or used to but I am trying to increase activities as I can. When I was a young guy I was into kickboxing, running, and weight lifting of which I still try to lift which normally puts me on the sideline for a few days. I do try to get out and walk, due to my disability I was only able to get about 30 or 40 yards at a time but I have bettered this to almost 75 yards before having to stop due to pain. I am looking to loose weight due to loosing my brother from a heart attack and loosing my mother with complications from diabetes (hepatic failure). I want to ensure my health as much as I can and I really would like to be at my fighting weight one more time before I myself pass away. At one point I was considering by-pass surgery, however I'm not a big fan of getting cut on. So this is a nut shell of my story, I just hope this all will work for me. My pic is as current as I have, about a year ago but I have maintained this weight since then.

Possible return.
It's time for me to attempt to come back to FS. Some of the things in my life have changed so I can try this again. I was surprised to see that in spite of being totally out of control with my eating I haven't shot up in weight yet. (fingers crossed)

Combating the stress.
This is to all the people on FS who have been so amazing to offer kind words of encouragement and good thoughts toward me. I am sorry to say that for the interim I will no longer be posting what I eat or what my activities are. I will continue to work hard to achieve the goals set for myself however the stress of feeling judged and the pressure of being what I feel to be under the microscope has negatively effected me. I'm in no way saying that any of the FS community is to blame, no one has done any of these things. This is just how I feel and NO ONE should feel as if they in any way caused this revolution in my life. Truthfully you all have aided me in changing my eating and living lifestyle which I will forever be grateful. I am still going to post my weight loss achievements just not the other stuff, hell I may even post some too and also respond accordingly. So please do not take this announcement personally, it is not and never was meant to address anyone here in FS land. Thank you for understanding.

Missing a few day's
LOL tell you what it is one of the harder things that I am trying to do is restart...Thing I hate is when you are out doing things and find your self lacking the time to go home and cook you (I) find comfort I knowing that dinner is only a little re button away. Things will improve and since I m doing so much more now I don't think it's going to hurt me like I think it will. Today I actually was able to jog, it has been some time I could do that without terrible pain.
