Where to start...a little about me I guess...I am 31 years old and have been married to the love of my life for seven years. We have a beautiful home in Northwest Indiana, which we share with three of the most wonderful children as well as two dogs, whom are like children themselves, and a bird. I am very close to all my friends and family. As you can see I have a full house and a happy heart. I am a high school special education teacher and I am pursuing my master's degree. Even with all of these wonderful things I am not the happiest I can be.
I am 6' tall and nearing the 300lb mark which scares me to death. Everyone always ensured me my weight was because "I was so tall." The last time I remember being "thin" was at about age 12. Once I started high school it all "blew up" from there. Over the last 16 years I have put on a few pounds, 136 to be exact. I have done all the fad diets and had results but I wasnt able to live on the "diet" plan. My husband and I have been unable to conceive on our own, or after three IVF cycles due partially to PCOS.
This isn't my first rodeo on FS and I hope it will be my last. This seems to be the only place I am successful. The members are sincere, many in the same boat. I've learned from my mistakes and have set smaller goals for myself. It is time for a change and I have to stick with it. There is no room for excuses, no time for them either. I have to do this now, no time is better than the present.
