I am an on and off Keto eater...more off than on which is why I've only lost 16 or so pounds over the last few years. BUT any downward trend is better than the upward trend I had been on prior to attempting to become accountable for what I eat. I started around 165 and my lowest I've reached was 143. It's September 2019 and I have begun tracking my foods by logging them in an app. I'm a radiology tech who is planning on starting school again FT next fall to become a radiation therapist. Never too late to set goals in all areas of life and aim for HAPPINESS!

Crisis
Yes, going to the gym often shows a weight gain bc youre building muscle...but more muscle helps burn more calories too. I bet you're losing inches though. Have you tried measuring yourself, then remeasure in a couple weeks?

Sloooooowwwww weight loss!
I never had a problem with my weight until my late thirties, but now that I'm in my forties, I can barely get it off! But as one person said, you didn't gain it in a day either. I'm so happy I lost 4.5 lbs in a month, and although I get jealous of the people who drop weight so fast, I'm just thankful that I've turned from gaining to losing. We are all working very hard and we all are starting at different weights, ages, bodies...so I try to remember that results will be different. Also, last time I tried this Low Carb way of life I didn't lose any pounds, but I could fit into pants that I had "grown out of". Now that I'm actually tracking my carbs etc... I'm doing much better. I can't even believe where those sneaky carbs are! DON'T GIVE UP! It'll happen Smile
