Try this its working for me
the math is done just once to have an idea that you are eating within the guidelines you desire. I did the math and use the FS site to enter all the food i ate until I figured out the amount I could eat and stay close to the goal numbers, if one doesn't have a lot of weight to lose one has to be more mindful of the totals. Also if one is not very active it helps to keep tract of what you are consuming. It's ok to go over one day/be under another.
By now I don't have to enter all I eat into FS to know if i'm within my intended goal for the macro nutrients. Yet I prefer to do it to I keep myself accountable.
Everyone has their style, whatever works!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Once a week usually, but if I feel a noticeable change i will weight myself.
