I've done atkins before...lost a lot of weight...fell off though, because I started dating a guy who LOVED going for nachos!! DAMN IT!!! I put all the weight back on and then some.

THIS TIME....I have weened myself off of bread and sugar slowly. I started April of 2010. I have dropped 30 lbs already and am ready to stay on this lifestyle permanantly. I have gone from a triple triple tea at tim's down to just plain tea with nothing in it. I have learned how to live without LOADS of milk. I have learned how to be concious of my decisions...mostly...I've learned that I LOVE LOVE LOVE sashimi!!!! OMG!!!! I'm so glad I didn't have to give that up!!!

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!?!?!? LOL!!!!! I hope that made everyone smile or at least roll their eyes.....everyone just stop and take a DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP breath. INHAAALE...EXHAAAALE!!! LOL!!!

Now....We all have to be empathetic to each other. Everyone is entitled to their feelings and emotions. Its how one copes and handles those feelings and emotions that is important here. Aaron326..I have never been over 300 lbs. I have been 221 lbs. I will never say I understand...but I certainly empathize with you and say..GREAT JOB!!!! Great job at doing what you need to do. Its unfair to lump ANYONE into a category of understanding based on their weight. If these girls make you uncomfortable...and your gut is telling you to do your own thing...then do it girl!!! Empower yourself!!! Find some girls around the same size if possible. I think you know that already though. To everyone else...its easy to give advice or judge when you don't really know the whole story...there IS two sides here. I really think that Aaron just needed to feel heard and acknowledged and instead this whole thing went WAY OUT of line. Its okay that she felt uncomfy with skinny chics...its okay that she didn't want to go...but its how she dealt with it that matters. If someone truly is your friend and cares about you...they would never do anything to compromise your feelings. THAT SAID THOUGH...we are all in control of how we feel, and the situations we put ourselves into. Do it...or don't. Aaron..I support your decision no matter what it is. As long as you take the high road...ya know??

Yeah I can bet that is very frustrating hey??? Just stick to it. Stay away from Sauces and Sugars. Home make EVERYTHING for your induction and you should be safe....oh and don't eat passed the three hour before you go to bed mark. I sure wish you the VERY best!!! let me know how your progress goes...maybe we can support each other.

Well ladies...I just wanted to inform you that I think my stall has broken. I was stuck at 178-180 there for what seemed like forever...but I have come out now and am down to 173-174 now. YAY!!! Thanks to you all for wonderful advice.

Anybody have a similar story they would like to share?

WOW...that's great!!! I just might try that!! See I did something like that. Not on purpose though...I only had access to certain foods on the 27th of March and I ate over 100 carbs or something...but it didn't kick start me. I am thinking I should try it again. Thanks for the tip!!
