DH and I did a lot of celebrating this past weekend, so we are back on induction for a week. It was his grandma's 70th birthday, as well as our 5th wedding anniversary. Needless to say, we ate some cake and had some chocolate fondue. We didn't go completely crazy with the carbs though. We requested veggies and meat only for the rest of those dinners, and we refused any bread they brought us...we just partook in dessert. It was good, but made us both feel pretty sick/naseous afterward, and I woke up with headaches the day after each event. We laughed and wondered if that is how we constantly felt when we ate junk food all of the time. I have a feeling we felt pretty similar at least.

We are starting a workout program together next week, called Insanity. It is like p90x, but is more cardio/less weights. I am super excited about it because I LOVE being in shape, but I am pretty scared because I haven't really been working out much and am pretty out of shape--so it's not going to be pretty! I think it is really going to be good for us because we are both so competitive (especially me), so I think that will really push us to complete each workout as hard as we can.

Well the past week I have been eating ok, but had a few too many sugar free candies.....they are the devil. I crave them and other sweets when I eat them, and apparently, they make me gain weight! Anyway, I am going to try something new today and share a picture-diary of my day. :)

Breakfast:
-coffee with 1 oz cream and 0.5 oz Almond Milk
-cauliflower pizza with chicken, bacon, mozzarella, tomatoes, artichokes and mushrooms

-seasoned chicken leg
-3.5 oz. green beans with slice of red peppers (3.67NC)
-1 slice of flax bread with butter (0.52NC)
- 4.2NC (3.67NC from veggies)

-hot link (so my husband isn't here to cook for me, haha!)
-mashed cauliflower with butter x2 (I had seconds)(5.17NC+5.97NC)
-flax flat-bread (0.52NC)
