First time mom to a beautiful baby girl born in June 2009. Not so beautiful are the pounds I packed on with her. I thought maybe she needed a little extra padding for protection, in the form of cheeseburgers of course!

I am determined to get to a healthy weight by learning good eating habits and portion control. I hope to pass what I have learned onto my daughter so that she may never have to worry about her weight or eating habits.

Getting Grossed Out
I have been on Jenny Craig for 2 months now. I have followed the plan 95%. I have lost 15 pounds and do consider this plan a success.

I am getting discouraged with food and food choices however. I am starting to get just plain grossed out by the food.
Some of it is ok to eat, so I went to my favorites (or the ones I could stomach at least)
Now they are starting to gross me out.
Just a little frustrated with it all and needed to vent.
I decided this week I am going on my own to give my palate a break from JC frozen meals. I hope I dont blow it.

Do you have any tips to make the food taste better?

Should I worry about sodium
Make sure you are entering your food in your food diary. I just looked back over the last couple weeks and my sodium seems to be between 1200 (low) and 3200 (high) but I realized most of the excessive sodium was coming from unexpected sources, like salsa and carrots, i.e. free foods.
Once you learn what they foods are you can plan around the extra salty days.

I would increase your water intake if you are under 75 oz of water a day.
